Integrating Spyware Terminator with ClamWin, provides real-time virus protection. It's a very good anti-spyware application, though there are mixed reviews on its ability to handle antivirus duties. Terminator provides an effective real-time protection along with useful additional tools and is a free anti-spyware program. When tested against potential threats like spyware, adware, Trojans, keyloggers, home page hijackers, and malware this software detected and removed almost all of them and revealed good results. Terminator offers manual and scheduled scans as well as real-time protection for your browser settings, HOSTS file, startup entries and other system areas. The latest spyware signatures are automatically downloaded, and the real-time protection keeps baby-sitting to a minimum. Real-time protection monitors key spyware types and Windows objects, though slight system slowdowns depend on your machine. A toolbar is offered during the setup process, so be aware if you do not want it.
